For My TechnoGeek Peeps: TechnoGeekery iTunes Request

December 14, 2007 by cat

I’m gathering screen captures for an iTunes tutorial and want to know what topics my TechnoGeek peeps have just gots to know: Organizing playlists? Creating smart playlists? Learning what the heck is a playlist? Finding music files on your computer? Customizing your sync options? Adding games or photos to your iPod? Burning CD’s? What? WHAT?!

Leave a comment telling me which topic you are interested in, or ask a question if I didn’t cover it in the suggestions above. Go on. Do it. Otherwise, I’m just gonna do whatever the heck I WANT to do. Don’t think I’m joking. Because I am NOT.

GOSH.

I have a bunch of music in iTunes, but I don’t think I can fit it all on my iPod, so I haven’t synced my Nano with my computer in a while. Can I set up iTunes so only the songs I WANT load onto my iPod? If so, how do I do that? Thanks Chassy Cat!

Hi, Chassy Cat. I am so glad you are going to talk about iTunes! My son downloaded some music into my iTunes, and I ended up accidentally erasing it while trying to take it out of my music library. Is it gone forever, or can I get it back somehow?

    Hi Chassy Cat,

I need help figuring out how to move the songs from my older ipod to my itunes library on my new computer. I’ve figured out how to not erase them, but I’d like to be able to rearrange the playlists and make new playlists using the songs that are on my ipod, not just the new ones I have purchased since we got the new computer. Do you know how ot do this? Also, I’d like to take the Christmas music off once the holidays are over but keep it on the computer. OK, I need lots of help. Mine is a mini. We’re getting my son a shuffle for Christmas… Can he use some of my songs or not? Hope that’s not too many questions. Thanks!
